These are special tournaments where a limited number of people sign up to play for either a nominal prize or seats to an advanced tournament. These freerolls at most sites are free. Some sites have a minimal entry cost of points, which you earn by playing cash on those sites. This helps eliminate those people who site jump just for a freeroll. These tournaments help build the competition spirit but will most definitely teach you one thing, PATIENCE. You can win pretty good money playing these but for the most part, they are time fillers. However, they are a great place to start on a site if you don't want to make a deposit till you get a feel for the site. These tournaments are not the best way to build a bankroll. Some things you need to know to survive a freeroll are listed in this section and should make your experience a more enjoyable one.

 

I feel there's a gap out there in the information available about tournament poker that needs to be addressed. I haven't seen anything out there in all the research I've done that has any down-home fundamentals on what to do and when. Especially when your playing  multi table freerolls. I have some information and want to share it freely to help others become more confident in their play. All calibers of players will be able to take a little part of this to their game and if followed, will enhance their opportunities to achieve greater success.
